Smart Tying Tips

• Bobbin Choice: Always use a ceramic bobbin—GSP is tough enough to groove metal tubes. Our alloy bobbins are extra-hard, polished smooth, and built for comfort.

• Wax for Grip: GSP is naturally slick. A touch of tying wax adds control and prevents materials from slipping.

• Cutting Tools: Ordinary scissors dull quickly on GSP. Use a razor blade or tungsten carbide scissors for clean cuts.

• Customize Colors: White GSP takes permanent marker beautifully—seal with UV resin for durability.

• Splitting & Loops: Rotate your bobbin counter-clockwise to flatten the thread before splitting for dubbing loops or split-thread techniques.
