We want you to love your purchase. This policy explains how to return items purchased from The Fly Dresser.
1. Return Window
Return eligible items within 7 days of delivery.
2. Eligibility
- Items must be unused, unopened and in original packaging (wooden boxes/kraft bags intact).
- Proof of purchase is required.
- For hygiene/safety, worn scarves and used wax cannot be returned unless defective.
3. How to Return
- Email admin@theflydresser.com with order number, reason and photos (if damaged/incorrect).
- We’ll provide return instructions and the return address.
- Package items securely to prevent transit damage.
4. Return Shipping Costs
- If we made a mistake or the item is defective, we’ll cover reasonable return shipping.
- For change‑of‑mind returns, you cover return shipping.
5. Inspection & Outcome
We inspect returns within 3–5 business days of receipt and confirm by email.
6. Exchange Option
Subject to stock availability, exchanges for colour/size variants are possible within the return window.
7. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the CPA and ECTA.

Refund Policy

This Refund Policy complements our Return Policy and guides customer support decisions.
1. Refund Methods & Timing
- Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method.
- Processing time: 5–10 business days after inspection approval.
2. Refund Scope
- Refunds include product price; original shipping (R150 domestic) is non‑refundable unless we shipped an incorrect/defective item.
- Partial returns may adjust bundle discounts accordingly.
3. Non‑Refundable Items
- Gift cards, promotional items, custom/limited editions once opened, and items damaged by misuse.
4. Goods Not as Described or Defective
Contact us within 7 days with photos. Remedies include replacement, repair, or refund per the CPA.
5. Lost or Damaged in Transit
Notify us promptly so we can liaise with the courier.
6. Cooling‑Off (ECTA)
Where applicable under ECTA, certain electronic transactions may have a 7‑day cooling‑off right (exceptions apply).
