1. About Us

The Fly Dresser is a South African–based online store focused on premium, sustainable fly-tying materials presented in wooden boxes and kraft bags and fly fishing & Tying theme decor.

2. Orders, Pricing & Payment

• Prices are in ZAR and include VAT where applicable.
• Payment is required in full at checkout (card/EFT or other listed gateways).
• Prices may change without notice; errors may be corrected.
• All products are subject to availability.

3. Shipping & Delivery

• South Africa: Flat rate of R150 nationwide.
• Dispatch Stock Items: 2–5 business days after payment confirmation.
• Dispatch Back Order Items: 7–14 business days after payment confirmation.
• International: Planned for future rollout. Rates and taxes vary by destination and will be shown at checkout when available. Import duties/taxes are the customer’s responsibility.
• Risk of loss passes on delivery to the address provided.

4. Product Nature

Reasonable variations in colour/texture may occur due to the natural and hand-finished nature of our products. Images are illustrative.

5. Returns & Refunds

See our Return and Refund Policies. Unopened items may be returned within 7 days of delivery; defective/incorrect items will be remedied per the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).

6. Intellectual Property

All site content and designs belong to The Fly Dresser and may not be used without permission.

7. Acceptable Use

Do not interfere with site security, harvest data or use automated scraping.

8. Privacy & Cookies

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, The Fly Dresser is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

10. Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by South African law. Contact us first to resolve disputes; unresolved matters may be referred to an agreed forum or competent court.
